Alayna's First Ezra Experience (Blink 182)

Hi my name is Alayna Abravanel and I am new to the Ezra program. I lost my voice and I was sick but I am trying to feel better. When I first got here I made some new friends and Sarah is my roommate and she is nice to other people. I did café Ezra and we tried some smoothies and orange juice. We went bowling and I was scared but I got used to it. And all of earned to go of camp to get ice cream.

Because yesterday was a very a sad day Michael Jackson memorial death.  If I dress up like Michael Jackson I feel much better. And he knows that I love him, and care about him too!! When I was a baby I loved his songs and dance moves, just love him. I really look up to him, he is one of my own so much fun and I am so happy.

Ezra Staff Activities

On Tuesday Ezra we went on the day off

We went to camp Alonim

We got to do some chuggim like art, drama, and dance.

Swimming free time we eat food a lot.

On Saturday we were at a staff program called the Royal Feast.

TIkvah Arrives at Camp

Caroline was sad and happy. Sad to leave her family. To see her old and new friends. Busses arrived. People arrived from the airport. The marp checked people for lice. Then we unpacked. That day we met the amitzim kids. We made new friends. A lot of campers and ezra staff were jumping up and down with exitment. The first night was fun. And the next morning everyone felt a lot better. That night we had an activity. A scavenger hunt. And got to see new and different parts of camp. Played a nickname  game. Found out who our roommates were. And everyone was soo exited!

Ezra's First Shabbat at Camp !

Before     Shabbat     we     met     at     the     buddy     tree     at     the     buddy     tree     we     sang     songs     with     amitzim    

We     ended     up     eating     challah    

And     then     we     did     the     staff     oneg     and     ezra     oneg     at     the     ezra     oneg     we     sang     and     danced    

When     we     woke     up     we     prayed     with     amitzim     so     after     that     we     went     to     the     chadar     to     have     chocolate     muffins     for     breakfast    

We     went     back     to     learn     to     read     the     torah    

We     had     extended     pool     time     and     then     we     had     lunch     in     the     chadar    

We     got     introduced     to     our     buddies     in     the     ezra     lounge     each     person     went     to     their     favorite     place     at     camp    

We     did     the     parsha     clowns     with     popsicles     while     we     were     listening     to     jewish     stories    

And     when     we     were     all     done     with     all     of     the     jewish     stories     we     went     to     our     rooms     for     the     menucha    

We     did     a     limud     upstairs     in     the     ezra     lounge     with     josh    

We     went     to     the     chadar     to     have     supper    

After     supper     we     went     to     the     gaga     courts     for     the     yasher     koach     awards     which     are     part     of     tikvah     tradition    

We     went     to     the     basketball     courts     to     do     Israeli     dancing    

Then     we     did     staff     activity     which     was     a     royal     feast
