Monday Night Swim
On Monday night we had a night swim with Amitzim and Sollelim. I think it was fun to be with my friends . We had chips and long red sticks. I really enjoyed the night swim because I had a lot of friends in the group. It was good to make new friends. I was we could do it again soon. It was an awesome night.

Headline: NYC, Dallas TX set record during heat wave
In this summer of extreme heat, more weather records were reported on Wednesday: New York City used record 1 million watts hours of electricity over the four day heat last week, in Dallas Texas Fort Worth area had its warmest early morning on record.
Electricity usage peaked at four P. M. last at 13,189 megawatts breaking the old record set on august 2, 2006 by 48 megawatts. Dallas TX has also seen 25 straight days triple digit heat. Wednesday makes it 26 the forecast at 103, it is a relief from the heat. Areas from Northeast Michigan to Eastern Nebraska could maybe have cooler tramps but severe storms.
My view: If I lived in those parts of the country I would not be able to take the hot weather anymore.

We went to the park last night. We had ice cream for a snack last night. My buddies are Eli and Yair. I hope we are going to the park again. I had a good time at the park last night.

Last night we had with our buddies and we went to the park. We had ice cream and played games. I really enjoyed it a lot. But at the end I got upset with one of my roommates. We had a wonderful time with our buddies.

First year in Ezra
I have enjoyed my first year in Ezra staff. I really enjoy my roommates Nina, Caroline, and Margot. I really am having fun with the staff in every group. We get to stay up late and plan different activities. We have our own bathroom and walk in shower. I sleep on the top bunk and Nina is under me. I really enjoy the Ezra buddies. On Friday night we have a staff oneg in the dining hall. On Saturday we have an Ezra oneg in the new Library. I want to be in Ezra next year.

I like my jobs at Camp Ramah and Ezra Cafe. I like my Ezra coordinators. My roommates are Jake, Max, and Zach. The Ezra Oneg is cool and fun.

Shabbat Buddies
One day we joined our buddies with some fun Shabbat games. Before that we got introduced to 1 or 2 buddies, per Ezra staff we got a chance to talk to them during Shabbat. We had so series of places to walk and do a scavenger hunt around camp with buddies. My buddies for 2nd session are Shacar and Sivan and they come on Saturdays and Wednesdays. Some times we would award our buddies with Yasher Koach for our buddies of 2011. We always host a buddy breakfast and Tifilot (Prayers) with buddies.
It's a Zoo!
Wow! What a day off it’s been at the Santa Barbara Zoo for Amitzim and Ezra! We all saw all kinds of exotic animals, including but not limited to gorillas, poison dart frogs, bald eagles, Humboldt penguins, and much more! We have encountered an adorable little Humboldt penguin with a club “lucky” foot (Finding Nemo much?). In fact, his name was Lucky and he is by far the best swimmer among the other penguins. We even got to see how to train a dinosaur! Amitzim and Ezra have all enjoyed the exciting trip to the zoo followed by an adventurous tiyul…and the energy is still strong! It goes to show that adventure is out there, even closer than you might think!

The Santa Barbara Zoo was fun last night My favorite animals are goats and pigs. Santa Barbara was fun. I hope we are going to the Santa Barbara zoo again. The bus ride was cool and fun. I hung out with Jake and Sara. My favorite part about the overnight was naming everyone a celebrity.
Too Expensive?

My view: I thing the Israeli government should not be raising the prices of homes higher than they all ready are now. If the people of Israel went to protesting to the Israelis government. About housing or another matter that affixes them in their lives than they have a right to protest the government The Israel government can’t just stand on the sidelines and do nothing about the issue. Take action now.
Saturday Night Activity
Last Night was the first night awards for the Tikvah Program. We Really enjoyed the Havdalah service.
I had fun Dancing with my friends Shira Subar, Naomi Willis, Jenna Crosgrove, Ariela Wallace and Rachel KK. I also really enjoyed the ropes course.

The First Shabbat!

I think that the first Shabbat was very important for all of us. I loved the Machone lines as they were singing a few Shabbat songs. I think that they were sad to say goodbye to a Shabbat as a edah. During the afternoon we got our buddies. I love my buddies Gal and Sabrina. I really like them a lot. We ate breakfast in the chadar on Saturday morning. I loved the chocolate chip Muffins and the frosted Flakes.

Staff's First Tennis Practice
Yesterday the ezra staff got to have a tennis practice .
It was really fun.
Everyone loved it and said toda raba
To the man that tought us tennis.
It was a good experience for everyone.
Including the coordinators.
That was fun to watch,
We got a lot of exercise that day.
From all the running and sweating.
That was awesome!
And most of the ezra staff never played tennis before.
So,
The other staff helped out with the tennis.
And it worked.
It was a big work out
Well,
Most of the ezra staff said that.
They all think that the tennis was a amazing experience.
And the coordinators agreed with the ezra staff !

My Feeling on Being Jewish

My first time being close to God and Judaism was I was practicing for my Bar Mitzvah and learning Hebrew parasha with my tutor I felt great prided in having a Bar Mitzvah having my friends and family to celebrated it. After my bar mitzvah I was in USY and what made it so great was I was with other young Jewish’s finding they own way of being Jewish and so was I also feeling connoted to Judaism and my feeling about god.
I feel that God has a spiral soul in Judaism in ways that other people can’t explain but me. I also feel god has special connection with me because he knows how I feel in my heart and in my mind. Also helps me feel comfortable when I am feeling upset. God is my rock who inspires me. When I came to camp Ramah for the first time I didn’t know anyone but once I felt comfortable with the people around me I know that I was somewhere special.
I feel that camp is like my second home also it like my second family because I met and made so many friends over the years that have been to camp as a camper when was an Amitzim and now as a staff member an Ezra.
I will all ways cherish camp Ramah in my heart.

A good time
The tiyul was OK for me. I liked it because it was fun and sad to go back to camp. We ate yummy food like canned peaches and my favorite food was meat and pasta mixed together. My favorite activity was having staff snack after the campers went to bed. We ate cookies and drank iced tea. It was a treat. We all said nice things to Nicole for her birthday party. We also did a trust walk which was scary but fun. It was stepping outside of the box. Jake was our leader and a good one.

ON THE OVER NIGHT WE HAD A LOT OF FUN!
FIRST,
WE ALL WENT TO A WATER PARK.
MOST OF THE EZRA STAFF AND AMITZIM KIDS WENT ON THE LAZY RIVER.
THEN WE ALL DRIED OFF WITH OUR TOWELS.
THEN WE ALL GOT BACK ON THE BUS AND WENT TO THE LOCATION OF OUR OVERNIGHT.
WHEN WE ARRIVED AT OUR CAMP SITE ,
EVERYONE WAS SO EXCITED!
AFTER EVERYONE GOT COMFORTABLE ,
WE DID A TRUST WALK.
THAT’S WHEN ,
WE GET IN A LINE AND PUT YOUR HANDS ON THE PERSONS SHOULDERS IN FRONT OF YOU.
THEN YOU GET BLIND FOLDED AND YOU HAVE TO TRUST THE PERSON IN FRONT OF YOU AND WALK.
AND AT NIGHT WE HAD A TALENT SHOW.
A LOT OF PEOPLE SANG SONGS.
THEN,
AFTER ALL THE AMITZIM KIDS WENT TO BED,
ALL THE EZRA STAFF GOT A NIGHT TIME SNACK.
IT WAS DOUBLE STUFFED OREOS.
YUMMY!!!!!
A LOT OF PEOPLE AT THE CAMP SITE DIDN’T SLEEP WELL THAT NIGHT
BECAUSE OF ALL THE DIRT , ROCKS , AND DUSTY AIR TOO.
WE HAD TO WAKE UP REALLY EARLY THAT MORNING.
THE BUS RIDE WAS FUN BECAUSE WE WERE WITH ALL OUR FRIENDS.
WE TALKED ON THE BUS AND JUST COOLED DOWN AND CHILLED.
THE MEALS ON THE OVERNIGHT WAS NOT YUMMY BUT IT WAS OK.
BUT,
WE ATE IT ANYWAY.
MOST OF THE KIDS LOVED THE JUICE BOXES THE MOST.

SOME PEOPLE WERE SAD TO LEAVE THE CAMP SITE,
AND OTHERS WERE HAPPY.

Our recent Day Off

On our day off we went to a place where we got to paint and use hammers and nails too.
And we painted a whole house .
It was a good experience for most of the ezra staff.
We did some stuff we have never done before.
But, It was so hard to use a hammer at the first try.
When we got to the house we were all excited!
After a while,
Using the hammer was much easier.
When we had to leave the house we were working on,
It was fun but also sad.
When we left ,
Everyone said that it was cool!
On the day off is was cold then it was so hot we have so fun
My Tiyul
What i like about the tiyul well because i love the water park. But someone kept on screaming while I was sleeping. And then after that we came back to camp and we had cookies and chewy bars. And we went on trust walk. And I was scared of putting my head down. And the lazy river and around the camp fire. The end.

The next day is I am very sad to go home next Tuesday. And my feeling for this year is listening to blink-182 and green day.

The weather is cold today and not hot today. We love the weather today. I love it because it feels nicer. my friend loves hot weather not cold weather because we can go to the pool and hang out. We love camp so much.
