Rick Recht – The Man, The Myth, The Legend

By: Amy Earlix

This past week, Rick Recht came to Camp Ramah in Ojai, California.  We were all very ecstatic about him coming.

Rick Recht has two sons. He started playing guitar and singing at the age of 8. Rick Recht has been singing for many years. He goes out of the country every 2 months. He takes his sons with him too. He loves Camp Ramah. And loves to be with his fans. And take care of his children. We both sing and play guitar. Rick Recht is a pop star. When he plays guitar my heart bursts. When I see rick recht I get so exited! He rocks. When he sings the song This is the Hope I cry.

Ezra’s Second Day Off

by Caroline Pirouzian and Amy Earlix

This last Tuesday the Ezra staff went to the beach and celebrated Samantha’s birthday.  We ate chocolate cake and ate Pizza from Pizza Nosh, a favorite amongst the Ezra Staff.  It was hot at the beach but the water was cool.  It was very exciting and we loved seeing the seagulls.

After the beach, we went back to camp and got ready to go to a Dodgers game.  We went to the game with our Israeli friends.  On the way to the Dodgers game, we went to the park and ate dinner.  Then, we made it to the game as the Dodgers were playing the New York Mets.  Although the Dodgers lost, we had a lot of fun, especially seeing our good friend Justin Hellman.  After the game, we came back home and got home after midnight, allowing us to sing happy birthday to our good friend Samantha.  The whole day made us happy and enthusiastic.

The     color     related     to     the     number     five     is     blue     because     of     the     rainbow.     I     discovered     the     number     system     on     January     first     1990     at     Midnight,     the     day     I     was     born.
Thursday     is     the     fifth     day     of     the     week.
